Welcome to Barrow County Emergency Services Online

The Barrow County Emergency Services is a newly organized department comprising of three previously singular divisions of the County’s public safety: Emergency Management, Enhanced 911 / Dispatch and Fire and Emergency Medical Services. The creation of BCES allows for a much more efficient delivery of emergency services to the visitors and citizens of Barrow County.  

The Chief of Emergency Services is Don Towne. The oversight and delivery of public safety for the County is coordinated utilizing the skills and experience of its one hundred dedicated employees to provide for the emergent needs of over 63,000 citizens.
