Firefighters encourage you to practice E.D.I.T.H.
Exit Drills In The Home

1. Draw and map out an escape plan from every room in your home, include two exits in
case one is blocked.
2. Discuss the different ways to get out of the home.
3. Practice your escape plan twice a year (usually when you change your smoke
detector batteries).
4. Designate a meeting place for your family to meet after exiting the home (a
mailbox, a tree or the neighbors house).
