Station 5 was built in 2002. Currently it houses Engine 5, Med 5, and Car 13. Engine 5 is a 1996 Pierce Saber and Med 5 is a 2004 Ford F-350. Engine 5 is a licensed advanced life support engine and Med 5 is a licensed advanced life support ambulance. The station is staffed by five personnel twenty-four hours a day. The Fire Investigations Unit is based out of Station 5. Many of the personnel assigned to Station 5 are members of the Fire Investigations Unit. Car 13 is used by the Fire Investigations Unit to respond to fire scenes across the county when an investigation is warranted.
