Station 6 was built in 2009. Currently it houses Engine 6, Med 6 and Battalion 1. Engine 6 is a 2006 HME Silverfox and Med 6 is a 2009 Dodge Sprinter. Engine 6 is a licensed basic life support engine and Med 6 is a licensed advanced life support ambulance. Battalion 1 is the on-duty supervisor for the County. The station is staffed by four personnel and the Battalion Chief twenty-four hours a day. Station 6 is also houses the new emergency services headquarters. The Chief, Deputy Chief and the departments administrative assistants offices are located here. The E-911 center will be moving to their new facility located within headquarters in the spring of 2009.
